Usually at this time of year we would be welcoming prospective new parents and children into our school, to show you our wonderful setting.
Due to the unprecedented times we find ourselves in, it is with regret that COVID-19 means we are unable to hold parental events.
In order to show you what Pinewood Infant School has to offer you and your child, we have created videos and presentations which can be found below.
Our frequently asked questions section should provide the answers to any questions you may have. However, should you have any further queries or questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
We are able to offer telephone consultations with Mrs Burleigh, our Head of Teaching & Learning, if you wish to discuss your child’s admission further. In the first instance we would ask you to contact the school office, who will be delighted to book a convenient appointment for you.

Reception children will start at the beginning of the September term and details will be confirmed to all parents once the 2021/22 academic calendar has been agreed.

Once your child turns five, you will be offered the opportunity to pay a subsidised rate for your child to continue to receive milk.
Further details will be given with your admission pack.
Currently, all pupils at Pinewood Infant School are entitled to a free school meal as part of Universal Infant Free School Meals.
The children can bring in a healthy packed lunch if they wish or they can choose a free school meal each day from the HC3S menu. The school also supplies a healthy snack at break times which can be either fruit or vegetables.
There is a meat, vegetarian and baked potato option each day. We are able to offer menus that support meal preferences due to religion i.e. no beef and pork and for children with medical reasons who have medical evidence.
HC3S can meet children’s medical dietary requirements, please discuss this with the office.
