At Pinewood Infant School, we believe a school uniform gives children a sense of belonging and enhances the ethos of the school. In accordance with the Department for Education’s statutory guidance on the cost of school uniforms, we have ensured that our uniform is affordable and that the number of required branded items is kept to a minimum.
Most of our uniform consists of generic items that can be purchased from any high street retailer or supermarket. Only a small number of items require the school logo.
Navy Blue Trousers, Shorts, Skirt, or Pinafore Dress: Required (Generic). Note: No leggings or ski-pants.
White Polo Shirt, Shirt or Blouse: Required (Generic).
Cornflower Blue Sweatshirt or Cardigan with Logo: Required (Branded – available via Arbor).
Black School Shoes: Required (Generic). Note: No trainers for daily wear.
Summer Option: Blue and white striped or checked dresses may be worn in the summer months.
White T-shirt & Navy Shorts: Required (Generic).
Plimsolls or Trainers: Required (Generic).
P.E. Bag: Required (Branded version available via Arbor, or Generic).
Pinewood Book Bag: Required (Branded – available via Arbor). Essential for protecting reading books and home-school communication.
Items featuring the Pinewood logo are available to purchase exclusively through our Arbor School Shop. We are a cashless school and no longer accept payments at the school office.

Log In: Access your Arbor Parent Portal or open the Arbor App.
Find the Shop: From the dashboard, select School Shop.
Select Items: Choose your items and sizes, then click Buy Product.
Payment: Complete your purchase using a credit or debit card.
Collection: Orders are processed by the office. You will be notified when items are ready for collection or have been sent home via your child’s book bag.
📌 Inventory & Stock Note:
The Arbor School Shop displays live stock levels. If a specific size is not listed, it is currently out of stock. We restock frequently; if you need an item urgently that is unavailable, please contact the school office to check the next delivery date.
To support our families and promote sustainability, we provide easy access to pre-loved uniform items.
Location: Our second-hand uniform rail is located in the school foyer. Parents are welcome to browse these items during school opening hours.
Donations: If your child has outgrown their uniform and it is still in good condition, please consider donating it to the school. Donations can be dropped off at the school office.
Please ensure all clothing is clearly labelled with your child’s name. We do not have a centralised lost property; all lost clothing is returned directly to the classrooms.
